Now I don't know what to do. It seems some apps crash without the /1000 and some
crash with it.

We really do need a test case here. I think it's possible to install MinGW into
Wine. The other solution is for me to use Delphi. In fact, I'll try and do that
now. If I haven't posted an EXE within a few days, poke me again.
