confirming your own bugs is unfair ;) 
 
anyway, you need gas the GNU assembler to build WINE 
currently.

  (gcc, gas, etc.). Warning : installing gas does *not* ensure that it 
  will be used by gcc. Recompiling gcc after installing gas or
