Summary: Spews messages on stdout when playing Crusader Kings
           Product: Wine
           Version: 0.9
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: wine-directx-ddraw
        AssignedTo: wine-bugs at winehq.org
        ReportedBy: vincent.lonngren.759 at student.lu.se

The game Crusader Kings is very playable with wine 0.9. However, there is a
constant flood of messages like this on stderr:

err:ddraw:Main_DirectDrawSurface_GetSurfaceDesc Impossible/Strange struct size 0.

Eventually this will make the log so large it fills up the entire partition on
my system. I work around it by symlinking the log to /dev/null, which works
nicely, but is not very pretty.

Since everything seems to be working, the warning may be redundant. At least it
should probably not be issued more than once unless some special debug mode is on.

This problem seems to be present in other Paradox games like Europa Universalis
2, as well as a few other applications.
