Thanks guys!

Adding 

[AppDefaults\\Shareaza.exe\\DllOverrides]
"comctl32" = "native"

to ~/.wine/config did the trick.

Now I still run into trouble when I actually try to connect to a server, but
that seems to be a totally unrelated problem.
