I get very similar messages trying to install a "Thomas the Train" CD:
fixme:ole:ITypeInfo_fnRelease destroy child objects
[many times]
err:ole:marshal_object object doesn't expose interface
{be6115a1-7de5-48dc-ad2a-25060e00fce2}, failing with error 0x80004002
[many times]
fixme:ole:RpcChannelBuffer_GetDestCtx (0x7fcbef68,0x7fcbef6c), stub!
fixme:ole:RpcChannelBuffer_GetDestCtx (0x7fcbf038,0x7fcbf03c), stub!

Either before or after the last two lines, the installer pops up a dialog titled
"Unhandled Exception", containing "Error Number: 0x80010105  Setup will now
terminate."
It doesn't crash or hang.  After I close the dialog, I get a bunch more of
various err:ole: lines, then it exits.
