i believe this bug should be considered a blocker for wine 1.0.  there are a lot
of steam users wanting to use wine, and it would be a shame if they had the poor
experience that this bug leads to.

ivan, i suggest changing the severity to either critical or blocker so that the
wine devs will actually deal with this.
