With more recent versions of Wine (tested up to 0.9.20), the game wouldn't even
get to the main menu, because of a 'D3DERR_INVALIDCALL' (popup by the game).
stefand told be to do a regression test on GIT, resulting in
bfbcfd22342c2469b54d64514471f5dfa0bdb02e is first bad commit

wined3d: Watch out for negative results when validating the shader constant range.
Reverting that back in 0.9.20 removed the problem.
Apparently he made some wrong assumptions on the shader constant range. I let
stefand know and assume he'll fix the issue.
Now waiting patiently for the other issues to be fixed.
