[Bug 5777] New: nested exception on signal stack in Alpha Centauri

Playing Alpha Centauri (the patched version, 4.0) on Wine 0.9.18 (it's new and
somehow not on the menu yet).  The game appears to work as would be expected
except for the fact that it can't survive for more than about three second
without me doing something, and even then will tend to crash, emitting the
following message:

If I run it with WINEDEBUG=seh, I get a long list of traces, all of which look
