last line in your trace:
0009:trace:d3d:setup_light glLightf call ok device.c / 167
Line 169 is never reached, so i would guess a crash in setup_lights. What
happens if you just comment out (or remove)  line 166 up to 169 in
dlls/wined3d/device.c?
