the slow down occours directly after the last these log messages:

fixme:d3d:IWineD3DDeviceImpl_EvictManagedResources (0x12150cf0) : stub
fixme:thread:SetThreadIdealProcessor (0x17c): stub
fixme:thread:SetThreadIdealProcessor (0x17c): stub

looks like it's something with threading.
