Seems like bug happens on system using hardware mixing and the "hardware
acceleration" set to "Full"(this is the DEFAULT) in winecfg if set to
"Emulation" it does not happen here.

regression testing gives this:

2ececbeda999dc67ac93f88233cfaa7e535042cd is first bad commit

dsound: Transparantly fall back to software mode if hardware mode is
unavailable.
