I can confirm this problem - 3ds max 9 doesn't install on current WINE.

By the way, this bug has wrong product and wrong component: bug is in WINE so
product should be "Wine" not "WineHQ Apps Database". And component should be
wine-misc if you unsure where is the exact cause of the bug.
