No, there is two "things" :

* The virtual desktop, that is inside the window
* The window, whinch contain the virtual desktop

The virtual desktop have the size of the resolution and it's just fine, if the
resolution is too big, the virtual desktop do not fit inside the screen, but
that is fine.

On the other hand, the window (manage by the WM) should be resizable, so we
could be able to toggle it in fullscreen mode (that a function of some WM). The
virtual desktop should just always be put in the center of this window (even if
the window is too small).

I think that it would even be better if wine manage this fullscreen mode
entirely.

I join three mockups explaining the problem.

When I run Warcraft III without a virtual desktop, everything work well, but
when I switch to my desktop (for example to chat), my desktop is in 1024x768,
which is not convenient. With this false "fullscreen mode", it would be just
perfect !
