doing wineprefixcreate seemed to fix it. i can play it again, but there are
still a few problems. the icon that gets created on the desktop, upon clicking
it produces an error saying that the files may be corrupt (in the windows-esque
window). that isnt that big of a problem because running it from a terminal is
fine.

what i want to know is, what did it? what file was misconfigured?
