Thank you very much for the info. I just tried running X with 8 bit color
depth. I was able to install the JRE but I could hardly recognize text and
buttons.
But, good news everyone, JSmooth is running on Wine! It is still a bit shaky
(random JVM crashes here and there) but after several attempts I managed to
produce an EXE file from a JAR file. The EXE file even run on wine. Great! ;-)
