I disabled beryl when testing this. Clean .wine. I just tried again in wine
0.9.40. I found that if the demo is installed, closed, then Earth2150.exe is run
from it's Program Files's folder, the test will run successfully (every
resolution worked for me).

Do you need debug logs with unsuccessful/successful runs? +Opengl?
