Confirming. I attach a +wg,+opengl trace. Looks like lots of trouble already
start in the beginning:

trace:wgl:X11DRV_WineGL_InitOpenglInfo Direct rendering enabled: False
 
glxinfo gives correct output for me (direct rendering --> yes and Ati Radeon 9600. 
 
@reporter of this bug: what graphics card do you have?
