Well.. maybe let's try to find what we have in common because I get exactly the
same error as yours, I'm quite a newbie so if you want to know something you
have to explain me how to discover it... but well. This is my computer:

Intel P IV HT 3,2 Ghz
Nvidia 7800GT 256
1gb Ram
distro: Gentoo
