Anastasius's patch

Hey, that worked great!  With both Hans' and Anastasius' patches,
the installer gets a lot further; the next problem is

wine: Call from 0x7ee69320 to unimplemented function
setupapi.dll.InstallCatalog, aborting
(while running C:\cbad88ac07732ab58f3d0c87\update\update.exe)

Oddly, http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa469375.aspx claims
this function isn't even implemented.  But I gather back in
win2000 days it actually did stuff.

But the main installer thinks it completed ok.

For the record, when I try to start the app now, I get
fixme:mpr:WNetGetUniversalNameA ("C:\\PROGRAM
FILES\\KOBOLD\\SHOAI.80\\KLM\\KLM.mdb", 0x00000001, 0x34f82c, 0x34fc38): stub
err:ole:CoGetClassObject class {6c736db1-bd94-11d0-8a23-00aa00b58e10} not
registered
and then a dialog
  Lizenzdatenbank nicht vorhanden!
and when you try to use the File menu, it puts up a null pointer error dialog.
Oddly, installing mdac-2.7 makes the File menu stay up after that dialog.

But if you install  mdac-2.7 before installing the app, you see
one more install problem: 
a dialog saying roughly "error in data source shaoai_access",
right before the update.exe that crashes.
