Warcraft III freezes while loading a level ever since wine version 0.9.46,
including up to the latest 0.9.48.

To reproduce:

- Run Warcraft III with the command 'wine war3.exe -opengl'.

- Either start a new campaign or attempt to load a saved level. The level
loading bar gets to approx an inch from the end (on my 15 inch widescreen
monitor) and then nothing further happens.

- You can usually CTRL-C the wine command, but occasionally Gnome freezes and
the system has to be rebooted.

- I have tested with fglrx and open-source video drivers (for an ATI Radeon
mobility 9600 video card). The problem doesn't seem to be related to video
drivers.

- This happens both with compiz effects off and on.

- Using winecfg, I have tried emulating WinXP and Win2000, using ALSA and OSS
drivers, with and without audio emulation, with and without pixel shader, with
and without vertex shader.

- Note that Warcraft III runs fine in wine 0.9.45 using otherwise the same
configuration.

O/S: Ubuntu 7.10, kernel 2.6.22-14-generic
