I'm using a Mobility Radeon 9600 pro (128M) with fglrx driver to play the game.

Yes, I used an iso image to install and play the game. Maybe it's different
than using the cd. You can try making an iso of your cd, reinstall and try to
launch it (with virtual desktop). Is the localization of the game important ? I
don't know...
