After the addition of MFC40.DLL it was possible to access the aforementioned
template files and complete the design on the screen. There are still problems
with the printing (see attachments). The application still emits error messages
to the Konsole window. There are no error messages within the application
itself. I have also added DCOM98.EXE but there were no apparent changes after
this addition. The application is still not able to produce the usable output
(see attachments "oval.jpg" and "round.jpg").
