Oh, +heap logs get very big. Yet alone starting notepad gives a 0.5 mb log, and
notepad is rather small

A +heap trace doesn't give really useful information. What would be helpful is
a oprofile profiling which keeps track of function calls, so we can see from
where the heap functions are called. No idea how to do that though - there's
some parameter like -recursive or similar.
