I had tried it in /windows/system/ and in ~/.wine/windows/system/, but not in
/windows/system32/ !

Thanks, that cured it, .map files now load as before.

Now, why did it accept before the .dll in the prog directory, and now no longer
wants it there ?

BTW, I'll put a not the the AppDB about this gdiplus.dll, and where it should
go.
