Nope, still no luck. That was the version I tried myself:

All done with current git, brand new .wine (deleted previous .wine &&
wineprefixcreate). No other configuration performed after wineprefixcreate
except run setup of BabasChess, then attempt to run the app itself. Crash
happens right after answering dialog about creating personalized directory
(left at default path).
