Hi,

First I'd like to say I really appreciate that there is a genuine interest in
helping with this issue.

I'm afraid I do not understand the question. Printing used to work just fine in
my setup before. Nothing has changed and it still works globally (Linux, Samba
shares to Windows machines, Wine) - execpt for the latest servicepack release
of the ERP software.

The Sonet ERP suite is the only thing that has changed from a "works to 100%"
situation to this latest situation where we aren't able to choose printers.
This app used to be able to offer 100% printing similiar to native under Wine -
up to it's latest release.

As for the CUPS configuration: the app is run under "host-1" but the CUPS spool
is configured under "host-2". They are both in the same subnet.

Done.
