I'm trying to upgrade from a full version of Office 97 to an 
upgrade-only version of Office 2000. 

It's still an open question whether the VBA editor and all related macro 
functionality will work, of course; programming Word & Access is the 
only reason I want to install Office. 

I was thinking of trying installing VMWare server so I can run XP as a 
virtual machine, then seeing if I can get the upgrade to work that way.  
But I'd rather do it the Wine way.

Anyone have any other ideas (besides the obvious one, get a newer or at 
least not upgrade-only version :) )?
