Yes it does, in order to get the demo to work (same as the full game) you will
need to place the following in "~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/Thief\ -\
Deadly\ Shadows\ Demo/user.ini":
[BlockLoading]
LoadFromResourceBlockFiles=True
[Source Control]
UseSourceSafe=0
[Engine.Engine]
UpdateGameSys=0
