[Bug 9690] New: Half-Life 2 bad performance if wide areas are in sight

You should use another version of wine, not 0.9.45   0.9.40>=  have lot of
troubles with steam and Dsound.
Take a look at my post, playonlinux.com is very easy to use and should help
you :)
