Found an old note that leads me to believe it had to be run in compatibility
mode for 2000/XP (actual MS Windows, not wine setting).  That makes me think
behavior is exactly the same as with MS Win OSes.  I can't easily test this
anymore, since it's been a couple years since I've had MS Windows on a
computer.
