Well i just tested out wine-0.9.59 and still obtained a black screen along with
working sound. the game runs and you can even start a game by hitting enter a
few times but sorry no graphics. I am using a geforce 7800 gt oc with 
nvidia 169.12 drivers on an intel platform (p4 3.2 gig cpu on an asus p5ad2
premium motherboard), using xfree86 4.7.0. My attachment is much the same as 
spoonies' is. Some sort of "GL_INVALID_OPERATION". Anyway i will check to see 
when this broke by trying a regression test.
