I have just checked how GTA:SA runs in the newest version of Wine. I can
comment it with only one word: tragedy. There are no textures on anything, menu
is not present the same as all the cutscenes that should be seen after the game
is started. 
I have had any problems with bug 9461 in the older version of Wine.
