VBA is fine with me.
I mean macros that are no processed directly from word macro's bar but using
word are OK. Word itself is refusing to load them and the very same function is
only working when prompted from outside Word.
for VBA I needed vbscript.dll, which is provided by windows script and requires
mfc42.dll.
Registering the .NET VB classes is still a problem however not hurting me too
much because on the second go, the installshield is skipping this part.
One thing that helped me in the past was to replace the WinSXS of Wine (XP)
with the same from (XP) windows with the software installed. Thus I had the
assemblies working and did repair the software on Wine.
