The correct Xserver version is VERY important. In various versions the opengl
implementation is broken. In some cases it enters an infinite loop and crashes
due to that in other versions you can get such issues. I'm not sure if it
should work fine at all as even when it finds opengl you need several hacks in
Wine to get opengl in a usable state.
