as I said in comment #5 it works in wine with proper locale - so Polish PPV
works with Polish locale and English PPV works with English locale.

I tried Polish PPV in English Windows and it doesn't work. I can try English
PPV in Polish Windows if you want me to... but we can predict what will
happen...

As I said in comment #7 Wine behavior is similar to Windows behavior. However I
think we can do better than Windows and don't quit silently but inform user
about issue.
