That URL is a little squiffy, but the checksum matches the one posted at

Can somebody who did a direct download from discreet.com back
in the day post the sha1sum for their 3dsmax7.exe?

Also, to be clear, does the app require native overrides
even without the combustion plugin?  The appdb entry is confusing
on this score.
