Susan, please post in Bugzilla instead of replying to wine-bugs.  Email read:

"Tested with today's git as of Friday 10:00 EST, which included 2 sets of
patches, the second minor.
Results:

Using Windows Notepad: Success. All problems seem to be solved.
(1) When hitting the Enter key, the program no longer tries to close!
(2) When dictating into DNS's Dictation Box, and saying ";new-line" and then
attempting to paste into Notepad, the transfer takes place flawlessly.

Using Wine's Notepad: Partial success. One out of three. 
(1) When hitting the Enter key, the program no longer tries to close.  Success.
(2) When dictating into DNS's Dictation Box, and saying "new-line" and then
attempting to paste the text, the text is lost. 
(3) Then I tried dictating a small amount of text without a "new-line" command,
and transferring that. Did not work.
