So if any of you are testing client with clean .wine dir, then you should be
observing different output.  Attach it.  

Then it would be interesting to see backtraces of all Wine threads at the
moment.  When client hangs, could you please run another terminal with a
command in it: wine winedbg.  After this execute some commands in the prompt of
Wine debugger:

> info proc
> info thre
> bt all
> q

Then attach output of the operation here too.
