austin at austin-desktop:~/test$ touch foo.{exe,EXE,ExE,eXe,eXE}
austin at austin-desktop:~/test$ ls
foo.exe  foo.eXe  foo.eXE  foo.ExE  foo.EXE

Then, using bash autocomplete:
austin at austin-desktop:~/test$ wine foo.
foo.exe  foo.EXE  

.Exe, .eXe, etc. are ignored.
