"Using winetricks to install gecko and gdiplus allows the program to get to the
"Starting up" window.  At this point it receives a "Cannot connect to server"
message.  (The server is fine).

Could this have anything to do with SSL?  It's at this point that the program
would attempt to open an SSL/TLS socket.

Wireshark shows an "encrypted alert".  Seems that the server doesn't trust the
client.
I have tried native versions of the crypt*.dll files but I'm hunting in the
dark here."
