At the time the bug was opened 1.0.1 had not been released and the only stable
version (1.0.0) was not offered as a choice. Please consider the facts before
saying that "AppDB already lists latest stable version as an option for
submitting test results" since it was definitely not the case (else why would I
have submitted the bug?).

Either this behaviour has changed, and this is a "Fix released" or, as Austin
English explained, 1.0.1 might not be offered as a choice before 1.2 (or 1.0.X)
is released.
