It is a Wine bug, and I don't think the performance is the obstacle. Wine has
around 80% Windows performance in HL2. Shader support via
GL_NV_register_combiners and GL_NV_texture_shader is possible, but it is a
matter of manpower to implement it. No one of the current d3d developers has
any plans to implement this, but as usual we accept patches if any volunteers
step up.

Reopening, and changing title. Setting the priority to enhancment since these
cards aren't produced any longer and getting rarer and rarer.

It is still a bug, and still fixable.
