Hey guys,

I went to Ubuntu 6.06, uninstalled wine 0.9.53 completely and reinstalled.
Without doing any changes to winecfg (just looked without changing, windows
version was set to Windows 2000) I installed Dic Michaelis; for my surprise,
the application was still running smoothly... why that's a problem? because in
Ubuntu 7.10, the same wine 0.9.53 version with the same configuration (windows
2000 etc) doesn't work! I tryed changing to window$ XP and Window$ 98 but the
problem still continues.

I suppose the long hard work of regression testing has no use because the same
version of wine has different behaviors in different (kernels?). Besides, it
would not be possible determine what patch (if any) caused the regression,
because I can't really know if the application ever worked fine in Ubuntu 7.10!
Please give me directions. Tks.
