Yes it did

Nope, as stated before, these windows don't refresh. Maybe it's a leftover of
bug 2398. However, there are new fixes for the afore mentioned bug in current
git, committed yesterday. Maybe things will be better in wine 0.9.56. Let's
hope ...

Anyway, this bug was about the installer, and the main bug in this installer is
basically fixed by James (thanks). The remaining issue is a dupe of bug 8466.
So let's close this one as fixed
