Some PB "features" don't work as intended but *Ssssh* ;-)

You can verify the "basic" function of the services
(startup/communication/shutdown) with this tool from EvenBalance:

Out of curiosity .. I visited some BF1942 Punkbuster enabled servers to test
the reviewed patches and it seems they didn't carry out API fingerprinting
check, tested for some hours without single kick.
Though that could be coincidence.
