What and how did you installed? What FreeTDS has anything to do with your
program? What DBMS does it talk to? How is is configured to talk to DBMS via
ODBC or directly?

What is printed in the terminal on each step? (installing, configuring,
running) Attach as files DO NOT paste (unless it's < 5 lines).
