you can try the following to produce some output showing which files are being
accessed when you run the "MP-update" - if it's trying to find a language.dat,
this will show where it's looking for it.

WINEDEBUG=+file wine foo.exe 2> hellgate-update+file.log

compress it with bzip2 and attach it
