Here 2 snips of MSI traces, showing different behaviour on 2 queries :

Query of LOCALAPPDATAFOLDER :

trace:msi:MSI_GetPropertyW returning L"C:\\windows\\profiles\\massimo\\Settaggi
Locali\\Applicazioni" for property L"LOCALAPPDATAFOLDER"

Query of CommonAppDataFolder :

trace:msi:MSI_GetPropertyW returning L"C:\\windows\\profiles\\All
Users\\Applicazioni\\" for property L"CommonAppDataFolder"

You can note that first case has NO trailing backslash, the second HAS it.
