Just found that a demo is available at
http://www.fc-datalogit.co.nz/FC%20Edit%20DEMO.zip  While a slightly different
version than mentioned before, its problems seem very similar.

This application is a simple VB6 application, so fixing it would probably
benefit a lot of other VB6 apps.
