After regression testing all night it would seem to be the very first commit
after the 0.9.50 tag, but this makes no sense to me.  All I can say is that I
re-installed the pre-built Ubuntu Gutsy i386 0.9.50 package from here:
http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/archive/index.html and FL8 registers and lets
me save my work (which is the main thing the demo does not allow: file saves). 
So 0.9.50 has tested twice now as working, and everything else is debatable.
